Projection de Soapy Postmodern Bathwater, un film de Fehras Publishing Practices, suivie d’une discussion avec les artistes (Sami Rustom, Omar Nicolas, Kenan Darwich), la chercheuse Tiphaine Samoyault (essayiste, traductrice, critique littéraire et professeure de littérature comparée) et Qalqalah قلقلة. La résidence commune des Fehras Publishing Practices et Qalqalah قلقلة, portée par la Fondation Camargo, le Frac Provence-Alpes Côte d’Azur et le Goethe Institut, permet aux artistes de poursuivre leurs recherches sur les questions de la traduction et des relations de pouvoir linguistique.

Screening of Soapy Postmodern Bathwater, a film by Fehras Publishing Practices, followed by a discussion with the artists (Sami Rustom, Omar Nicolas, Kenan Darwich), researcher Tiphaine Samoyault (essayist, translator, literary critic and professor of comparative literature) and Qalqalah قلقلة. The joint residency of Fehras Publishing Practices and Qalqalah قلقلة, supported by the Camargo Foundation, the Frac Provence-Alpes Côte d’Azur and the Goethe Institut, allows the artists to pursue their research on the issues of translation and linguistic power relations.

عرض فيلم «ماء صابونية ما بعد حداثية» لفهرس الممارسات النَّشريّة، يليه نقاش مع الفنانين (سامي رستم، عمر نقولا، كنان درويش)، و الباحثة تيفين ساموايو (كاتبة، مترجمة، ناقذة أدبية وأستاذة الأدب المقارن) و قلقلة Qalqalah.
أتيحت الإقامة الفنية المشتركة لفهرس الممارسات النَّشريّة و قلقلةQalqalah بدعم من مؤسسة كامارڭو و FRAC Provence-Alpes Côte d’Azur / المؤسسة الإقليمية للفن المعاصر بروفانس-آلب كوت-دازور و معهد Goethe. و سمحت هذه الإقامة للفنانين بمتابعة أبحاثهم حول مسائل الترجمة وعلاقات القوة الموجودة باللغة.

À la Villa Arson – École Nationale Supérieure d’Art, Qalqalah قلقلة proposait début novembre un workshop intitulé Unknown names falling upon our ears, pensé pour le groupe de recherche Situations Post autour des liens qu’entretiennent les oeuvres de Fehras Publishing Practices et les travaux de Tiphaine Samoyault.

Qalqalah قلقلة a par ailleurs été récemment invitée à co-commander une série de textes : un entretien avec Amanda Abi Khalil, fondatrice de Temporary Art Platform, paru sur Switch on Paper (où nous avons par ailleurs conversé avec Éric Mangion et Luc Clément à propos de Qalqalah قلقلة), un essai de l’autrice Claire Finch sur les pratiques féministes et queer de traduction à paraître dans Hoot, revue portée par Gufo Gufo, un entretien de Victorine Grataloup et Salma Mochtari avec le philosophe Paul Guillibert à paraître dans L’effondrement des Alpes édité par l’ESAAA, école supérieure d’art Annecy Alpes, et une conversation entre l’artiste Minia Biabiany et Vir Andres Hera à paraître dans Lili, la Rozell et le Marimba. Ces trois dernières publications paraîtront ensuite sur la plateforme, à suivre !

At the Villa Arson – École Nationale Supérieure d’Art, Qalqalah قلقلة proposed in early November a workshop entitled Unknown names falling upon our ears, conceived for the Situations Post research group, on the links between the work of Fehras Publishing Practices and that of Tiphaine Samoyault.

Qalqalah قلقلة was also recently invited to co-curate a series of texts: an interview with Amanda Abi Khalil, founder of Temporary Art Platform, published on Switch on Paper (where we also conversed with Éric Mangion and Luc Clément about Qalqalah قلقلة), an essay by author Claire Finch on feminist and queer translation practices to be published in Hoot, a journal carried by Gufo Gufo, an interview by Victorine Grataloup and Salma Mochtari with the philosopher Paul Guillibert to appear in L’effondrement des Alpes edited by ESAAA, école supérieure d’art Annecy Alpes, and a conversation between the artist Minia Biabiany and Vir Andres Hera to appear in Lili, la Rozell et le Marimba. These last three publications will then appear on the platform, more to follow!

في الفيلا آرسون – المدرسة الوطنية العليا للفنون، قدّمت قلقلة Qalqalah في بداية شهر نوفمبر ورشة عمل بعنوان «أسماء مجهولة تقع على آذاننا» Unknown names falling upon our ears، صُمٌِمَت لمجموعة البحث «حالات ما بعد» حول الروابط بين أعمال فهرس الممارسات النَّشريّة و أبحاث تيفين ساموايو.

تمٌت مؤخرًا دعوة قلقلة Qalqalah للمشاركة في عدة منشورات منها: حوار مع أماندا أبي خليل من منصة الفن المؤقتة / Temporary Art Platform، الذي نُشر في Switch on Paper (حيث تحدثنا أيضًا مع إريك مانجيون ولوك كليمان حول قلقلة Qalqalah)، مقال للمؤلفة كلير فينش حول ممارسات الترجمة النسوية والكويرية سيظهر في Hoot، مجلة يحملها Gufo Gufo، حوار لِسَلمى مشتري و فيكتورين غراتالو مع الفيلسوف بول چِلِبير سيصدر في «انهيار جبال الألب» L’Effondrement des Alpes، من نشر مدرسة الفنون العليا آنسي آلپ، و محادثة بين الفنانة مينيا بيابياني و فير اندريس هيرا ستظهر في Lili, la Rozell et le Marimba. ستظهر بعد ذلك هذه المنشورات الثلاثة الأخيرة على المنصة، يُتبع!
